Kashmir Education Foundation (KEF) is a registered non-profit, non-political organisation committed to delivering high-quality, liberal education to underprivileged children particularly girls from the underserved communities of Azad Kashmir and Pakistan. Established in 1994, KEF has grown into a network of three colleges and a dedicated Teacher Training Institute, collectively positioned as Centres of Excellence in rural education.
To support its mission, KEF relies on the generosity of donors and institutional partners. It is officially registered as a charitable trust in the United Kingdom (Charity No. 1082299), the United States (EIN 30-0047316), and Pakistan, and enjoys full income tax exemption in all jurisdictions.
Over the years, KEF has developed valuable affiliations and support partnerships with respected national and international institutions, including:

- Acklam Grange School, UK
In recognition of its governance standards, programme impact, and financial integrity, KEF was awarded the Seal of NPO Good Practices by the Pakistan Centre for Philanthropy (PCP). Notably, KEF was among the first 45 NGOs out of more than 60,000 in the country to receive this distinction, placing it in the top tier of credible, professionally managed non-profit organizations in Pakistan.
