education in rural Azad Kashmir

Kashmir Education Foundation (KEF) is an education foundation which was established in 1996 that provides modern, high-quality schooling to orphaned and underprivileged children in rural Pakistan and Azad Kashmir. As a non-profit trust, its primary aim is to make excellent education accessible to talented boys and girls from poor communities, with a special emphasis on female education. KEF builds purpose-designed village schools and a teacher-training college to empower young people in Azad Kashmir to break the cycle of poverty.
